An award winning theatrical experience that tells Shakespeare’s Scottish tragedy, through a darkly cinematic lens. The story unfolds through an awe-inspiring blend of acrobatic choreography, film noir soundtrack, and countless rooms of densely detailed atmosphere. Guests decide where to go and what to see, ensuring that everyone’s journey is unique, and each visit is different.

Sleep No More won the 2011 Drama Desk Award for Unique Theatrical Experience and won Punchdrunk special citations at the 2011 Obie Awards for design and choreography.

After an outpouring of love and support that led to encore upon encore, the journey must end. Sleep No More will close its doors on January 5, 2025.

Over these final three nights, what will the McKittrick reveal to you?

Beginning on Thursday, January 9, the hands on the clock will begin ticking—not forward, but in reverse—counting down to the moment when the McKittrick closes its doors for the final time.

Apparitions invites guests to revel with thrilling performances, live music, and dancing throughout multiple floors of the hotel. Guests are encouraged to dress in their decadent best, with bespoke costume themes to match each night of the party.
